Tumult is a large framed buck, standing on tight feet and toes and a correct leg set with copious amounts of width and bone. He is easily the largest buck in our herd, and his tremendous nature stands out in the crowd. Tumult is also a gentle giant, easy to handle and overall just one of our favorites. His dam, Romance, is a beautiful doe that unfortunately contracted mastitis at a show as a FF after winning a show leg under Marshall Losey. As a result Romance is uneven and has not been shown since. Her udder is capacious and correct, set high with a lovely fore despite the damage. Tumult's littermate sister, Trist, has earned two breed reserves in her debut this spring. Trist freshened with a single doe kid as a two year old, and our hopes were rewarded with a lovely first udder that fulfilled our expectations. She then went on to earn a respectable linear appraisal score of 90 as with an extended lactation. T's grand-dam on his sires side, M’s Sagebrush Jubi French Kiss has stood in the top 5 at nationals twice with 1st udder. You can view Frenchie HERE. We have high hopes for Tumult as his continues to fill out his massive frame and mature. UPDATE: Tumult gave us a lovely daughter, Nikita, out of CH M's Sagebrush Laur Raisha. Nikita has shown very well, earning her junior leg on her show debut. As a two year old first freshener, Nikita earned several grands potentially finishing her as well as a BEST IN SHOW! Tumult gave us an experimental daughter, Piranha, out of a saanen type doe. Piranha earned her junior leg in 2023 on her show debut as well. She will be bred toggenburg for 2024 kids. |
