To reserve a Tule Creek kid:
We enjoy speaking with prospective buyers about their goals and needs, and strive to place each kid in a home that is best suited for both the buyer and the animal. Please let us know what improvements you are looking for so we can work together to find the kid that best suits your needs. We abide by ADGA Recommended Trade Practices as outlined in the ADGA guidebook.
All of our kids are pulled at birth, and raised on lambars. We routinely test our herd for CAE and can provide our reports upon request. In the past we have also tested for tuberculosis, brucellosis, CL, Q Fever and Johnes and have been clear for those - but decided to forgo those tests in recent years due to our herd size and no evidence of those diseases. Our herd is CAE NEGATIVE and has been since our inception due to the hard work of the breeders we purchased our original stock from years ago.
All of our kids are disbudded, tattooed or microchipped, and vaccinated with CD/T before leaving our premises. We feed a medicated 16% custom mix to prevent cocci, and will also treat for worms or cocci as needed on a case by case basis. Kids are offered free choice alfalfa and grain from birth.
To reserve a kid, a $100 deposit is required with remaining balance due within 10 days of notification of birth. We ask that you pick a first and second kid choice option in the event that your first choice is not available. If your choice of kid is not available, or if the animal does not meet our standards of quality, we will gladly refund your deposit or transfer to another kid if that is your desire, however there are no refunds on buyer cancelled orders.
Deposits paid on BUYER cancelled orders are not refunded. If I have to cancel an order for any reason, deposits are refunded immediately. Special circumstances are considered case by case, as we understand that sometimes things happen! Prices quoted are for pre-ordered kids picked up or shipped between by 6 weeks of age. Shipping, vet certificates and any required testing is done at the buyer's expense. As the breeder/owner of these animals, I do reserve the right to keep any animal born but will honor all pre-orders first. Please note that Nubians and Lamanchas come in many colors, and we cannot guarantee that kids born will be a certain color. Kids rejected by buyer due to color alone are considered a cancelled order and will not be refunded.
We offer does in milk and senior bucks throughout the year as we continue to evaluate the herd and move forward to keep our numbers in check. Please contact us for any interest regarding a doe in milk.
Breeding plans may be subject to change, and will be updated throughout the season -
