Scandal was our AI success of 2020, accompanied by a gorgeous chocolate brother and a lovely sister. We retained her brother Bad Company as a junior herd sire and her sister, Diana, went to our good friends in Colorado.
Scandal resembles her dam's side, exhibiting tall stature as exhibited by her aunt Tia and possessing her dam Elsa's tremendous width and flatness of bone. Scandal stands on strong feet and legs, and freshened with a lovely capacious mammary as a yearling which is a doppleganger of her dam Elsa's udder. And, much like her dam, is slow maturing and will need a few more years to fill out her massive frame and come into her own.
She is elegant with a beautiful neck and a long bone pattern. As a yearling, she is much taller in stature than her dam with improvement on the front end. She quickly outpaced her yearling herdmates in production, topping over a gallon as a yearling. She has a pliable udder and milks to a glovelike texture with larger (but still small) orifices than her dam. As such, Scandal is easy to hand milk with tremendous attachment down her legs and a beautiful fore udder.
We can't wait to see what is in store for Scandal in 2022!
