In the spring of 2021, we began a search for a bit of new bloodline to add to our small toggenburg herd. I've been watching other herds carefully for a while and had a few specific traits in mind that I wanted to complement our main togg line. After a few conversations with Leslie of Bar XX, we discussed strengths and weaknesses in our herd and settled on a few prospective breedings. Fall came and went, and by next spring we were anxiously anticipating births of our selections.
Summer of 2022 and the California girls arrived. Danika and Fanta are very welcome additions to our herd, and we couldn't be more pleased when they stepped off of transport.
Danika possesses the strength and elegance we are looking for in our togg does. Angular, standing with tremendous width and dairyness, Danny is already a stunning doe at such a young age. She stands on very correct feet and a beautifully flat topline. The wattles don't hurt either! We are looking forward to watching this lovely young doe step into the show ring once she settles in. Thank you again Leslie for allowing Danny to come to Nebraska.
