Chicklet often gets overlooked because well, she’s a plain old blonde and is a little chunky and just kind of plods along doing her thing on a well attached udder that milks to nothing. She stands on strong feet and legs with a substantial amount of bone, and if you can get your fingers through she’s quite dairy underneath that extra cover. I appreciate that she milks well and holds her weight, as the Hello line tends to struggle with the amount they produce and keeping show condition. I see a lot of her grandmother, Elsa, in this doe. She is as wide as they come with a lot of depth and bone - a powerhouse of a doe.
As a first freshener, Chicklet did well in the show ring despite only have a single kid. She typically places at the top of her class, but her lack of maturity gives way to older does. However, she is maturing quickly and we love the extreme mammary attachment and beautiful fore that she is showing us.
As a 3 year old, Chicklet graced us with a lovely set of triplets and inched to the top of her class consistently placing behind her herdmate Supergirl. She also wowed us with her production, projecting to complete her 2nd lactation with over 3000 pounds on a udder that continues to be so securely attached. She is often commended on this extreme attachment, and appraised well this spring earning the coveted "E" in mammary that milks down to nothing. Chicklet is an "honest doe" - one that comes in rain or shine with little fuss or muss, shoves her head into her grain, and is consistently productive in and out of the show ring.
