DOB: March 2013 APPRAISALS: 8/19/2022: VEVV 88 Sire: GCH Kastdemur's Watch Yourself ++*B (LA 91) Dam: SGCH J&R Lamanchas Sacagewea (LA 91) Tia came to us from the outstanding herd of J&R Lamanchas. We had long admired her littermate sister, Tamara (National Show finalist), and jumped at the opportunity when Jose offered us Tia. Tia is a TALL, massive upstanding doe with an impressive mammary. She is one of the most productive lamanchas that we own, and consistently stands in the front of the line in the show ring. Through no fault of her own I was never able to get her finished between the dairy, and then moving and later covid. She has excellent attachment and medial, and although I would fault her a bit on teat size - the size is proportionate to her udder and allows for ease of hand milking the vast amount she produces. Tia has a wonderful, quirky personality that we adore. She is my herd matriarch, and even at her advanced age rules the farm - cats beware! Tia has continued to impress us year after year. In 2024, as an 11 year old with 11 freshenings (YES) - she finally gave me a pair of gorgeous doe kids that we have retained. Tia typically gives us a pair of bucks, always one white and the other black. Eerie, as her littermate sister Tamara was jet black so I always have a little chuckle when I see the pair of kids each spring. As such, I retained her son Titanium who is a bit more giving in the doe department than his mother. His doe kids are excelling in the ring as well, a testament to Tia's legacy. She has had such an impact on our herd, and I love her profusely. Tia is our heart goat and a large part of the "heart of Tule Creek".
