As I've told a few people, I'm not too big into recorded grades. We have had a few here and there over the years due to mishaps, and well... last spring a six-month old toggenburg named Panzer "helped himself" to 3 full grown lamanchas after somehow scaling fence. We use large six-foot cattle panels and rarely have unintended kids. It had been several years since our last "accident" so I suppose we were due! And, to be quite honest, I am so very glad Panzer and Laguana planned their love child out a bit better than how I originally planned Laguna's date!
Bermuda has turned into quite the head turner, balancing her dam's beautiful general appearance and our togg lines massive bone and width. Bermuda is out pacing her pen-mates with size and strength which is fairly typical of this family line of toggs. She sits on very correct feet and legs with lovely width between the hocks. At her first show outing, she placed first in her class and the judge exclaimed "Now look at this doe - we are going to be able to park a Mac truck of an udder in there". We agree, and Bermuda will be slated to a very handsome lamancha buck this fall.
