We began our journey with Toggenburgs with a long trek to Winslow, Arizona. I am so indebted to Marshall and Trudy Losey of the M's Sagebrush herd - these folks have been instrumental in building our toggenburg herd. To say that Marshall and Trudy are family is an understatement. Our toggenburg herd features genetics from Rowe's, Cherry Glen, Robla & Welbian- Farms. Our gals not only excel in the show ring, but have earned their way in the milk parlor. We are pleased to announce that SGCH M's Sagebrush Laur Raisha was recognized on ADGA's 2017 Elite Doe List for her production. Our toggenburgs are American, and have been chosen for their flavorful sweet milk that pairs well with our Nubians and Lamanchas for great tasting cheese. Since we were a Grade A Artisanal Dairy in Texas, we prefer does with a "non Goaty" flavor to their milk. |
